The daily challenges continue for another week of randomness courtesy of The Attic Studio.
A View from Above
Nice easy start to for this week’s challenge. The inspiration for this came from Micro Machines videogames I used to play when I was younger. I’d been toying with this idea for a while and this seemed as good a time as any to try it out.

Empty
Very simple this one. Just grabbed an empty glass and photographed it in front of a window.

Half Full, Half Empty
I had several ideas for this one, I wanted to avoid a half full, or half empty, glass as I felt that was too obvious. I did think about photographing a glass from beneath as it’s being filled. The caption would have been ‘The point is it’s refillable.’
Probably should have gone with that. It’s a better idea.
Isn’t hindsight wonderful.

Funny Shape
Well, maybe not funny, but certainly a shape. I dived in to my archives for this shot of Ayla. This was my second ever shoot in a studio.

Peeking
I knew I wanted to use action figures for this. I played with the idea of using Lord Zedd in some way but couldn’t come up with anything that I was satisfied with. It wasn’t until I spotted my son’s wrestling ring and figures laying on the floor that inspiration struck. And so The Viper peeks over the ring apron, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Celebration
What else was it going to be but decorations proudly on display in honour of the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Sometimes you do have to go with the obvious.

Green
Sorry, the theme was Green. Of course the Dragon Dagger was going to make an appearance. Took another dive into the archives with this self portrait. I’m actually surprised at how short my hair was just a couple of years ago.

I don’t think I have too much to say to conclude this week’s post. I hope you are all looking after yourselves in these difficult times. We will make it through this storm and see calmer waters again, even if it doesn’t always feel like it at times. I will keep partaking in this daily dose of randomness, even if the photos are questionable at best, and keep sharing these weekly results with you all. In the meantime, as always,
Stay Safe and Stay Sane.
